Someone please explain to me

Why in the name of all that’s sacred did I get up at 05:15 this morning? My eye feels like someone has rubbed sandpaper over it, the cat’s looking at me like I’ve gone mental, it’s dark outside, it’s still snowing, and Munky is still asleep in bed so I can’t even put on the washing machine or make some coffee because both of these things will make too much noise.
What time is it now? 06:15. Ah. Fuckit. I’m pretty sure he should be getting up to go to work sometime soon anyway.
