This is a Bronze Age barrow with standing stones situated on the main road out of Edinburgh (that's in Scotland, which is not an island off the North coast of England, despite what one American lady once informed me). There are three stones, two around 7 feet in height, and one of around 5 feet. About 600 yards to the east is the Lochend Longstone which is situated in a corporate garden. Doogie Scott pointed out that an observer standing at Hully Hill would see the Lochend Longstone align with Arthur's Seat.

| Purpose: | To check out reported damage |
| Time since last visit: | 3 months |
| Disturbed soil: | Yes |
| Also found: | Tyre marks all over the site, damage to a modern wall around the tumulus (was already slightly damaged). Torched 4WD and motorcycle. |
| Action taken: | Took photographs and put them on the web. |
| Comments: | It would appear to have been local neds: stolen vehicles used for joyriding and the torched nearby. Did not go looking for other types of damages - the site is treated as something of a hang-out by the local youth population. Given web address is not guaranteed to be available. |
