Doll Tor is on private farm land quite close to the Nine Ladies. Our first reporter says that this may well protect it from the weekend ravers and newagers that frequent the Nine Ladies, although apparently some people decided to rearrange the stones a while back.

| Comments: | Doll Tor is a beautiful place off the beaten track, but still very near to None Ladies on Stanton moor. Nine Ladies seems to attract the weekend pagan/ravers and Doll Tor is left in peace. The site is on private farm land which seems to help prtoect it from harm. Although it was damaged some years ago by idiots who decided to rearrange the stones in the cirlce. This was my first visit to the site but it made a great impression on me and I'm planning to visit it again later in the month. |
