I haven't got any info to hand on Cissbury Ring right now, but will add some when I get a chance.

| Purpose: | Passing by |
| Nightlight remains: | Yes |
| Left food: | Yes |
| Picnic remains: | Yes |
| Also found: | Ordinary picnic litter. Didn't feel like ritual remains. |
| Action taken: | Cleared the litter away and put it in the bins provided in the car park. Why the picnickers couldn't be bothered to do that themselves is beyond me. |

| Spoke to Land Spirits: | Yes |
| And they said: | The season of the Hag is on us again. Go carefully! |
| Fire damage: | Yes |
| Picnic remains: | Yes |
| Cigarette ends: | Yes |
| Also found: | There is usually a small amount of littter in the ring as the site is much used by picnicers, walkers etc, although it is never too bad. |
| Action taken: | Picked up some litter and put it in the bin. |
| Comments: | The news that the Soth Downs are at last going to get Natioal Park status came as a great relief. The area around Cissbury has been under threat for some time from a proposed road (A27 South Coast Superhighway). This is now unlikely to get the go-ahead. Joy! |
