Arthur's Stone

This is also occasionally known as the Quoit Stone. According to Cope, Chris Barber has noted that a peculiar type of ancient mortar is still to be found "in a small crevice o the west side of the south end of the huge capstone". The analysis in 1957 found that is contained large amounts of coal dust. The capstone weighs around 25 tons.

Also found: Trash, just lots of trash. Couldn't clear the whole area, there was too much, but cleared the site itself and that was a whole carrier-bag full of utter bloody garbage.
Action taken: Cleared lots of cack. And grumbled.
