To play Beyond the Veil, you need a character. The best way to create and advance your character is to buy a copy of Cthulhu Live, but for those of you who don't have a copy, the following sections should give you everything you need:

• If you are beginning to create a character, go first to the character creation section.
• Looking for a particular skill? Try this skill list.
• If you have survived a game and want to advance your character, head for the experience section for details on how to spend your experience points.
• Historical games are always richer when given a context. Take a look at this timeline for some details.
